I love the Nova! they look so cool and are so comfy. I've got them in beige and applied a protective spray, I think they're doing good. They are so versatile and classic, I go between them and my true star, both are my most worn shoes for casual occasions.

Love the shoe, really stylish. I'm a 41 in vivo barefoots and I would say they fit the same length wise as those, a good bit of space to the toe, but I prefer that. I don't feel clumsy or like they'll come off.

Beautiful shoes, but the sizing is way off. I am from the UK and knowing that there is no free return from the UK i measured my feet and according to their own sizing chart I should have been a 37 (which I normally am), so I ordered a 37. They are absolutely huuuuuuuge on me, and I am so gutted and also annoyed at the same time. I wish Groundies did free return from the UK, as they would gain so many customers who are now too afraid to order. :/ I can’t return the shoes as it would cost way too much, so if anybody needs a 37 Groundies Nova beige and pink and live in the UK, I am happy to post :)

Don’t follow the reviews that tell you to size down. I took a size down and it’s way too tight so take your usual size. I’m unable to return as the shipping costs way more than the price of the shoe. Good luck and I hope the size you get works out for you!

So my Groundies just arrived and before I bought them I read all the reviews about the sizing (about them being big) and I measured my foot. My foot is 25.3 cm which on their sizing chart is an EU 39 which normally I would be an EU 40, but because of everyone's reviews I bought the EU 39. But they are too small. So I am returning them and I bought the EU 40. Hopefully they fit me okay. The good thing about these shoes is that my feet do fit even when wearing my CorrectToes toe spreader which is good because I was hoping they would fit! I don't know if a lot of people know because it doesn't say it on their website, but wide toe box shoes are supposed to be a bit bigger than how normal shoes fit. You should have about a thumb's width of room (approximately 1-1.3 cm) in front of your toes to allow for adequate space for your feet to spread out into the toe box. Delivery time was also fast as well to Ireland. I can't wait to be able to wear them everyday. They are super cute and look to be made nicely as well.

It's an absolutely beautiful shoe, but the sizing is really strange on this one. I am exactly a size 41 in the Groundies "Universe" style sneakers - the size 41 for the "Nova" is HUGE. I am sending back and hoping that the size 40 will fit. Beware of sizing on this style!!

MEASURE YOUR FEET! I have been training my feet and wearing barefoot shoes for 2 years now, so they are already pretty wide (room for improvement still) and probably as long as they will ever be. I have only owned Vivobarefoot trainers and boots up until now but looked at this brand so I have some nice, smart casual footwear as I miss that 'white converse and jeans' look. I bought two pairs, one white one beige. They are GORGEOUS but so much bigger in size than i had anticipates! Sadly, I didn't measure my feet and assumed 37 would fit as all my vivos are a 37. The width is not so much of an issue but they are definitely too long. Unfortunately, as I live in Australia, it's too expensive and too long of a wait to send them back and buy them in 36. With the laces tied tight and wearing slightly thicker socks than I would usually, they stay on my feet and fit well enough, but 36 would of been much better. Other than that, they feel great (to touch and to wear) look great and I particularly like the shape of the anatomical toe box- it's wide but round and doesn't slope downwards around the 3-5th toes, like my vivos do. Will buy again in the future and make sure I measure my feet next time!

Super schöner jeden Tag Turnschuh. Die neue Farbe ist voll mein Ding. Sie sind superweich, und haben viel Platz im Zehenbereich. Sie sind vorne eher rund und nicht schmal zulaufend, das sieht sehr gut am Fuß aus. Ich finde, dass sie ein bisschen größer ausfallen, als meine anderen, sind aber trotzdem ok. Hab eine dünne Sohle rein gelegt.

Super bequemer Schuh, ich hatte erst bedenken das Weiß schnell schmutzig wird. Der Kundenservice hat mir zu einem Spray geraten. Nach 1 Woche sieht der Schuh immer noch total neu aus!

Die Schuhe sind sehr schön, doch sie fallen größer aus, als meine anderen Groundies-Modelle. Sie sind mir in meiner üblichen Gr. 41 viel zu groß und in 40 zu klein. Das ist sehr schade. Über halbe Größen würde ich mich bei diesem Modell daher riesig freuen. Ein Hinweis auf die Größenabweichung wäre angebracht.

Schuhe fallen groß aus, ich habe allerdings auch zierliche lange schmale Füße. Habe mich an die Maßtabelle gehalten und 38 bestellt, waren aber viel zu groß, und auch zulang. Jetzt habe ich 37 mit der Barfußeinlage, jetzt passen sie. (Ein anderes Modell trage ich in 38) Material ist sehr weich. Muss sie noch einlaufen. Das Design ist Top, hab lange danach gesucht. Dies waren meine ersten Groundies. Ich war schon von den Fotos so begeistert und in der Realität sind sie genauso schön. Das Leder, innen wie außen, ist butterweich. Die Sohle ist sehr flexibel. Ich habe sie nun schon ein paarmal im Einsatz gehabt. Ich ging damit auch über steinige Wanderwege und spürte quasi jeden Stein , aber nicht schmerzhaft, sondern wie eine Fußmassage. Nach einer längeren Wanderung hatte ich dann Muskelkater in den Füßen und den Waden (ja, ich habe es etwas übertrieben, aber das war mein erster Test von Barfußschuhen überhaupt) Da kamen plötzlich Muskeln zum Vorschein, von denen ich nicht wusste, dass ich sie habe. Wenn man diese Art Schuhe nicht gewohnt ist, sollte man nicht gleich Gewaltmärsche damit machen

Achtung liebe Eltern: Nicht für Spielplätze, insbesondere zum rutschen geeignet! Nachdem ich mit meiner kleinen Tochter zusammen rutschte ,stellte ich fest das die Kante der Fersensohle ausgefranst war wie ein Radiergummi. Die Reste meiner Sohle waren auf der Rutsche zu sehen. Habe sie trotzdem behalten. Sie fallen tatsächlich groß bzw lang aus. Aber für meine Recht extra breiten Füße die einzige Passform die wirklich passt und ansonsten sehr schönes Design!

Eben sind meine 1. Groundies angekommen. Ich hatte etwas Angst, dass sie nicht passen könnten. Hatte immer eine 37, aber nach 2 Jahren laufen in Barfußschuhen, passen mir Schuhe in 38 besser. Habe mir die Nova in 38 bestellt und sie passen gut. Platz nach vorne ist noch da. Aber eine 37 wäre sicher zu klein gewesen. Bin gespannt, wie sie sich jetzt im Alltag machen.

Mittlerweile habe ich einige Paare Groundies und auch diese gefallen mir im Großen und Ganzen gut. Sie sind optisch gelungen und sehr bequem. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es, weil die Sohle auf nassem Untergrund rutschig wird. Solange das Straßenpflaster rau ist, geht es, aber auf glattem Asphalt oder gar Metallgittern muss man höllisch aufpassen, nicht auszurutschen.

Elles sont sublimes, très légères et flexibles et visuellement très bien finies et de belle qualité. Je me suis fiée aux commentaires et à l'instruction de Groundies qui signale que ces chaussures taillent plus grand que la pointure habituelle et j'ai pris du 40 au lieu de mon 41 habituel (dans lequel j'ai suffisamment de place, j'avais peur d'être beaucoup trop large). Malheureusement elles sont un peu trop petites. Le gros orteil de mon pied le plus fort touche le bord de la chaussure (elles sont parfaites pour mon autre pied en revanche). Malheureusement j'ai peur qu'une pointure supérieure soit trop grande et donne un effet "pied de clown". Enfin je trouve que la forme n'est pas encore suffisamment adaptée aux pieds larges. Je pense toutefois qu'elles vont s'assouplir au fil des ports.

Première paire de chaussure barefoot pour moi niveau pointure le 38 est très bien j'ai suffisamment de place pour mes orteils, j'ai le pied large et ces chaussures me vont très bien. Par contre au niveau de la cheville c'est beaucoup trop large ! Et pourtant ma cheville n'est pas fine.

Elles sont magnifiques mais impossible de trouver la bonne taille. Le 41 était géant donc je les ai renvoyées, et en 40 mes orteils touchent au bout lorsque je marche. :( Donc finalement le 41 aurait certainement été mieux, même si c'était vraiment énorme. Pourtant avec les Sydney je n'avais eu aucun soucis de taille.

Beautiful shoes, really love the look and feel of them. But the sizing is tricky, as some other reviewers have pointed out (and I should have followed their advice). Instead, I measured my feet and followed the sizing recommendations on the site and ordered size 40. They were WAY TOO BIG, even for barefoot shoes. So now my hopes go to size 39.
