Für meine leider sehr großen Füße gibt es leider kein großes Angebot. Den Amsterdam von Groundies trage ich jetzt seit Anfang März und muss sagen, dass die die beste Passform aller Barfußschuhe für meine Füße haben, ist bestimmt auch sehr individuell, hier spreche ich nur von meinen eigenen Erfharungen. Was zusätzlich noch wünschenswert wäre, wären mehr Modelle im extra breiten Design. Gerade der Nova ist optisch einfach ein Hingucker. Den kann ich leider in dem normalen Fit nicht tragen..

Mit meinem Hallux sind normale Barfußschuhe einfach nicht breit genug und scheuern die Innenseite meines Fußes immer und immer wieder auf. Da ich nun auf die extra breiten Modelle hier aufmerksam geworden war, musste ich diese ausprobieren. Und was soll ich nun groß schreiben? Ich bin begeistert von der extra breiten Zehenbox und habe keinerlei Probleme mehr, kein unangenehmes Drücken mehr und das selbst mit einem laut meinem Arzt sehr stark ausgeprägtem Hallux. Die Schuhe sind sehr zu empfehlen, falls bisher ähnliche Probleme aufgetreten sind und man eben auch in den herkömmlichen Barfußschuhen nicht ausreichend Platz hat. Schön zu sehen, dass auch eine Marke wie Groundies, welche offensichtlich sehr auf ein modisches Aussehen achtet, solch einen "gewagten" Fit rausbringt, vielen Dank dafür!

I like the model - nice color and nice shape even in barefoot + size. What I don't like is that quality of the sole and upper part of the shoes declined. I have some old worn out Groundies models from several years ago - the sole was different: softer and more flexible. On this model the sole is quite stiff (same shape and stiffness like BeLenka soles). Upper part of shoe is nicely made but stiches are ruff (in the inside part of the shoe). Also, earlier models had better shaped sole (following foot shape). This model will suit you only if you have very big toe and no bunions. The + in this Barefoot + goes to the outer part of the footh, so it is wide but at the little toe side, not shaped to accomodate big toe. Inner sole of the shoe is not leather, in previous models the leather was used more for inner sole (it was better in preventig odour). All in all, if you are Groundies customer for 5-6 years or more, you may notice decline in quality.

Ein schöner Schuh, die Weite ist für meine breiten Füße genau richtig. Die flexible Sohle ermöglicht das richtige Abrollen des Fußes. Das Material sieht auf dem Bild deutlich glänzender aus als es ist, tatsächlich ist es eher ein heller Jeansstoff.

This is the shoe I've been waiting for all my life: roomy, comfortable, perfect fit for my broad feet, and yet stylish. I've been exclusively wearing Groundies since they were first produced, but I just love 'Barefoot +' . I also have Blaze in black (equally comfortable) and I'm awaiting delivery of Amsterdam in gold and Salzburg in beige. I don't think I will ever again wear a different brand or fit!

Such a good fit ! I struggle to find shoes in which I'm really comfortable in (size 39 but extra large 24,6cm long/10,6cm large, V square shape) but those ones where perfect from minute 1. I've been wearing them days long from day 1 even on rocky roads and there was no discomfort ever. And they are really cute. It's not too shiny, just a bit with the light. It can be slippery though when the path is wet as the sole material is pretty flat (it sometimes happens to make funny noises too because of that but it's not disturbing). I wore them under +30°C and they are light enough for summer indeed.

I found these so comfortable and wide in the + version. Really the toes can splay. They are quite large when it comes to sizes, I always have 40 in groundies but here 39 was enough and even roomy, the 40 was much too long for me. There is some seam that hurt my left pinkytoe but other than that they are the most comfortable sneaker summer shoes I’ve had. They are really pretty with the discrete yet trendy pattern and goes with anything, really like it!
