We are looking for a brand & sales manager for our very first GROUNDIES® Flagship Store in Miami, FL and for establishing a revolutionary brand concept across the US. We search for a retail professional who understands how to sell functional shoe fashion and who loves to inspire customers.

  • As the brand & sales manager, you are highly service-oriented, you will oversee all daily operations and supervise the operational and organizational standards of the store.
  • Your duties will include undertaking administrative tasks, monitoring inventory levels, and developing business strategies.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to meet monthly sales goals and demonstrates outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills.

About the company and about GROUNDIES®:

EOD European Online Distribution GmbH, was founded in 2007 by Goetz Herzog in Freiburg, Germany. Our business model: Building modern brands holistically as well as e-commerce and multichannel platforms. Accordingly, from the very beginning, the areas of marketing, sales, purchasing and logistics were also brought together under the roof of the EOD to ensure the highest level of quality and customer experience along the entire value chain from product development to distribution.

Today the main focus of the company and its current 140 employees is on functional footwear and lifestyle. After EOD added the British barefoot brand VIVOBAREFOOT to its portfolio as general distributor for Germany in 2011, the GROUNDIES® brand was launched in 2019. Since then, we have been revolutionizing not only the world of barefoot shoes, but the entire footwear world and are one of the fastest growing footwear brands in Germany and the rest of Europe.

The key feature of the products for women and men is the combination of the unique “feel good” effect of barefoot walking and the functionality of our True Sense® sole technology, while we always meet the latest trends in design, highest quality standards in the manufacturing process and sustainability development goals. In being a brand with value proposition, GROUNDIES® positions itself successfully both as a functional barefoot shoe brand as well as a conventional fashion shoe brand.

Part of this concept is also that GROUNDIES® develops its products exclusively in Germany and has them produced in Portugal, thus also ensuring working conditions with a high standard. For example, the use of sustainable and durable materials as well as the certification as a climate-neutral brand (the first barefoot shoe brand worldwide) support a responsible future-oriented approach of the company.

From a sales perspective, the brand follows a consistent D-2-C strategy with a focus on its own online store as well as its own flagship stores in selected metropolitan areas. In Germany, 15 of these stores have been opened or added the GROUNDIES® brand in the past 18 months in bigger cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf and Cologne, either operated by the company itself or by franchise partners.

The world-wide demand for GROUNDIES® increases by the day. Giving our brand the chance to take the next big step: the US market. We are convinced, and so are our first GROUNDIES® US customers, that the concept of well-being and style fits perfectly in the USA.
