    The Groundies All Terrain High is the ideal hiking shoe for outdoor adventures. With the revised GH2 TrueSense® hiking sole, it offers optimal grip, a wider toe box, and improved comfort. Its upper material made of recycled polyester is waterproof and breathable, while the soft ankle padding ensures pleasant comfort even on long tours. Stability and support are provided by the thoughtful lacing zones at the instep. The All Terrain High combines the benefits of a barefoot shoe with the robustness required by challenging terrain a must-have for outdoor enthusiasts.

    To clean your Groundies, please use a cloth or a sponge moistened with cold, clear water. Especially with leather and imitation leather models, impregnation is highly recommended to protect the shoes from moisture, dirt and environmental influences.

Ich WÜRDE sie lieben, wenn sie Sohle auf nassem Stein nicht so rutschig wären. Tragekomfort und Spüren des Untergrunds, wasserdichter, alles Top. (Hab mehrere Barfußschuhe unterschiedlicher hochwertiger Marken und daher auch guten Vergleich). Auch meine normale Größe fand ich passend. Aber wenn’s nass ist und man über glattere Steine geht wäre verlässlicher Grip wirklich wünschenswert, gerade bei Wanderschuhen. Das solltet ihr bei kommenden Outdoormodellen wirklich verbessern. Schade, wär wahrscheinlich mein Lieblingswanderschuh ansonsten.

Tatsächlich haben wir die Sohlen auf Rutschfestigkeit testen lassen, und sie haben im Prüfverfahren sehr gut abgeschnitten. Trotzdem kann es in der Praxis – gerade auf nassen, glatten oder mit Moos bewachsenen Steinen – rutschig werden. Das lässt sich physikalisch kaum vermeiden, egal welche Sohle man trägt. Dein Hinweis ist trotzdem wertvoll: Wir nehmen ihn in die Entwicklung kommender Outdoormodelle mit auf, denn Grip bei Nässe ist und bleibt ein wichtiges Thema. Schön, dass dir Tragekomfort, Wasserdichtigkeit und Barfußgefühl so gut gefallen. Vielen Dank nochmal, dass du dir die Zeit für diese ehrliche Rückmeldung genommen hast. Bequemer, stabiler Schuh mit gutem Halt, ideal für längere Strecken. Auch bei Nässe bisher dicht gehalten. Einziger kleiner Nachteil: Auf glatten nassen Steinen sollte man vorsichtig sein. Ansonsten rundum zufrieden.Jetzt bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass sie lange durchhalten.

Ich bin mit den All Terrain High 2.0 oft im Mittelgebirge unterwegs. Für schweres Gelände sind sie mir zu leicht gebaut, aber auf Wald- und Schotterwegen perfekt. Man merkt nach ein paar Stunden richtig, wie angenehm das geringe Gewicht ist. Die Füße bleiben geschützt, aber man hat nicht dieses klobige Gefühl wie bei klassischen Wanderschuhen. Ich hab schon viele Barfußmodelle von Groundies und dachte, ich probiere es auch mal fürs Wandern und es hat sich gelohnt. Grip ist gut, aber klar: auf nassen Steinen sollte man generell vorsichtig sein.

I have many different models from groundies and i love shoes from them. Good quality and fit. But these shoes are not so great. I have ordered both models, high and low, and both models are heavy and not very flexible. I dont feel nothing in those shoes, it's like wearing bricks. But the worst part is that they describe shoes as true to size, and they are not. I have compared them with all others groundies shoes size 46 that I have bought over the past few years (at least 10 pairs). And they are approximately 1,5-2 sizes bigger than all the others. How can groundies make such mistake. Groundies dont even respond on my email.

Both versions you mentioned are designed with a waterproof membrane and additional lining to keep your feet dry and protected in challenging weather conditions. Because of this construction, they can feel heavier and a bit less flexible compared to other Groundies styles. As for the sizing: our size chart refers to the inner length of the shoe, which should be compared with your foot length plus around 1 cm for natural movement. Due to the membrane and inner structure, the outer appearance can make the shoes seem larger, even though the internal measurements are correct. We also want to apologise for the delay in responding to your email. At that time, we experienced some technical issues and staff shortages due to illness — but your message was not overlooked.
