The sturdy, high-quality mesh upper and the breathable COOLMAX® microfiber lining make our Lyon model a distinctly comfortable and lightweight barefoot shoe.     To clean your Groundies, please use a cloth or a sponge moistened with cold, clear water. Especially with leather and imitation leather models, impregnation is highly recommended to protect the shoes from moisture, dirt and environmental influences.

The shoe itself is lovely and it allows to be wear with different outfits. Unfortenately I have to send them back because in this case they run too small : I usually wear a 39 ( 24.5 cm lenght ) but according to the size guide I pick a 38: too small for me, so I recommend your usual size. Probably this particolar model is no good for my narrow feet : the upper fabric is too stiff and it hurts where the shoe bends when walking, so I will look for a different model of Groundies. It's a pity that this brand does not offer the free returns from Italy, here every shipping company is very expencive. I already have 2 pairs of Groundies for winter season and I absolutely love them: they fit like gloves ! I recently went on a light hike with Low Terrain Waterproof shoes: ABSOLUTELY PERFECT ! I love this brand .

Die Schuhe wären wirklich toll gewesen, aber leider viel zu eng. Ich finde nicht, dass sie größengerecht ausfallen, daher mussten die Schuhe leider wieder zurück.

Ich habe mir diesen Schuh direkt in 2 Farben bestellt. Die Schuhe fallen größengerecht aus und sind sehr angenehm zu tragen. Optisch sind sie auch super schön. Leider steht jedoch die Haltbarkeit nicht im Verhältnis zum Preis. Schon nach einigen Tagen (und ich habe die Schuhe noch nicht mal täglich getragen) hat sich an einem Paar, am anderen Paar nach wenigen Wochen, der Kleber gelöst - an der Stelle, an der der Schuh beim Gehen geknickt wird. Ich habe dies reklamiert und mir wurde angeboten, die Kosten einer Reparatur bei einem Schuhmacher zu übernehmen. Leider haben wir keinen in der näheren Umgebung, sodass diese Option nicht in Frage kam. Dennoch Danke an dieser Stelle für das Angebot. Trotzdem bin ich der Meinung, dass Schuhe nach so kurzer Zeit nicht schon so aussehen dürfen. Ein weitere Makel ist die Reinigung. Ich hab schon einiges versucht, nur in die Waschmaschine habe ich sie noch nicht gesteckt. Die Schuhe werden nicht mehr richtig sauber und sehen immer fleckig aus. Die Hinweise zur Reinigung in der Artikelbeschreibung bringen selbst bei nur leicht verschmutzten Schuhen rein gar nichts, da der Dreck dafür viel zu tief in den Ritzen sitzt. Die Schuhe sind jetzt 11 Monate alt und sehen recht unschön aus. Daher kann ich dieses Modell nicht weiter empfehlen. Ich besitze noch ein anderes Groundies-Modell, mit dem ich hingegen auch nach Monaten noch zufrieden bin. Der „Anfangs-Optik“ der Lyon trauere ich daher umso mehr hinterher :-/

This is my second pair of a similar model. They are excellent, comfortable, although less comfortable than the previous non-vegan ones, the material is a little rougher and they cannot be worn without socks. Runs true to size,I ordered 39 which I usually order.

J’étais ravie de ces chaussures polyvalentes. Mais, au bout de 3 mois et en les portant juste 2/3 fois par semaine maximum, la semelle se décolle. Vu le prix de ces chaussures, j’attendais de la qualité… c’est vraiment honteux …
